Charity Challenge - 05 March 2013

As a practice we are dedicated to raising awareness of animal charities so a group of 6 staff are taking on the charity Coniston Challenge. This involves walking to the peak of the ‘Old Man’, biking through the Grizdale Forest and kayaking across the Lake Coniston, all in aid of guide dogs. Throughout the year we will be holding a number of fund raising events which we would love to see you at.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - HORSE PASSPORTS: From this point on, ALL passports will need to be checked by the vets or receptionists before ANY drugs can be dispensed. For your horse to be allowed to have But you MUST sign section IX "is not intended for human consumption". Please remember to take your passport to all visits. This is as a result of the recent horse meat scare and the subsequent enforcing of the law by the governing bodies. Your co-operation is very much appreciated.

Vaccination Amnesty Month April 2012 - 13 March 2012

As like last year’s national vaccination month, we are running our own exclusive vaccination month again in April. This will enable you to receive your second vaccination free of charge if your horse meets the criteria below.

Your horse MUST be over 12 months of age and either never been vaccinated or their booster must be at least 3 months overdue.
Their initial vaccination must be completed within the month of April. Vouchers are valid until and must be redeemed by 31st May.
PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF THE VISIT, THIRD VACCINATION OR ANY OTHER TREATMENT.

Please call the office and mention vaccine month to arrange visits.

Due to the high level of concern regarding strangles at the moment, we have decided to hold a meeting on Wednesday 21st March 2012 @ Wellingborough Museum, 7.30pm. As this is short notice we will only be sending posters to large yards so please spread the word, if you’re worried come along. We will do our best to inform you and answer any questions.
